The Tillotson 72mm or what is known as the 225 blocks and the Tillotson 76mm or 3" block does not have the front tank mounts for a traditional top plate linkage. The idea behind this is to distinguish the Tillotson racing engines from other industrial engine blocks. Without the tank mounts, the Tillotson engine gains a cleaner, more efficient curb appeal.
